To support your mental health it is important to understand different ways to improve it over time. Meditation can be that helping component that is missing from your daily routine. Mantra meditation uses a repetitive sound to clear the mind. This can be in the form of a word, phrase, or sound. For example, “Om.”


Transcendental meditation is a popular type of meditation and is popular in the scientific community. This type of meditation is likely to be done by those who like structure and are serious about maintaining a meditation practice.


Progressive relaxation is also known as a body scan in meditation and this is aimed at reducing tension in the body and promoting relaxation. This is a form of meditation that relieves stress and is able to unwind the body before bedtime.


Loving-kindness meditation is used to strengthen feelings of compassion kindness and acceptance towards oneself and others. This is a great way to understand certain feelings and also value certain aspects of your life. This form of meditation is a perfect way to overcome obstacles and feelings of anger or resentment against others.


Visualization meditation is a technique focused on enhancing feelings of relaxation peace and calmness by visualizing positive scenes or images. One may decide to think about happy thoughts and feelings to return to a happy place where there thoughts and feelings were much easier and defined to understand and support.
