When Your Faith Is Tested

“Your test is your testimonial.”

Everyday we are tested and faced with different mountains we have to climb. It is important to keep in mind your faith and goals. As long as you maintain your faith, your goals will get accomplished. Your faith gives you that extra push and willpower to move forward.

Some common goals to have would include:

  1. Improve your growth mindset.

  2. Be more proactive.

  3. Learn to understand yourself.

  4. Be persistent despite obstacles.

  5. Learn to accept your limits.

  6. Learn how to make effective decisions.

  7. Practice gratitude.

  8. Stay open-minded to new opportunities.

  9. Learn something new.

  10. Live according to your values.

  11. Learn healthy ways to cope with stress.

  12. Start good habits.

  13. Learn from failure.

  14. Eliminate bad habits.

  15. Improve your communication skills.

  16. Avoid negativity.

  17. Make healthy decisions.

Although all of these goals are important when trying to improve your personal growth and development, the opposite of these goals are what tests your faith. Most helpful testimonials are truthful and get straight to the point. They also include very in detail descriptions of the testimony or the experience, but nothing too personal.

There are also three ways in which your faith can be tested such as:

  1. You encounter doubts.

  2. You encounter changes.

  3. You encounter suffering.

When these happen, it’s important to never give up on yourself. According to Jonathan James, “a never give up attitude can be used to abolish doubts and negative thinking to make you stronger in facing everything. Your success was the sweetest when you realized what you came through and what tough times have you defeated before you reach those goals. It's all about the attitude that aids in commencing a battle.“

Furthermore, he expresses what happens when you develop a never give up attitude. Adapting a never give up attitude is beneficial for many reasons such as:

  1. You will eliminate your fears.

  2. New opportunities for creativity will open for you.

  3. You become fearless by facing your fears head on.

  4. An increased desire

  5. An increase in your emotional intelligence.

  6. You will believe that anything you can perceive is possible.

  7. You become prepared for everything.

  8. You develop effective work ethics.

  9. Never Giving Up Leads You to Happiness.

  10. You Learn Something New.

During this time you are able to convert your failures to success. In addition, you have everything you need in order to maintain your journey of a more positive mindset for your personal growth and development. The end result is the reward.
